NEUERO Ventilation System for Round Silos and Flat Stores – with Slotted Plates and Galvanized Lost Formwork

The NEUERO underfloor ventilation system for round silos and flat stores is a proven solution for securing grain quality. The floor is equipped with a central main air duct, while the side air ducts are formed from galvanized lost formwork. Specially developed slotted plates ensure an even air distribution throughout the entire storage area. The design of the covers is customized depending on the silo size to ensure optimal ventilation.

By means of targeted air guidance, temperatures in the bulk material are lowered, mold formation is prevented, and the risk of pest infestation is significantly reduced. The robust, galvanized design is built for high mechanical loads and guarantees a long service life with minimal maintenance.

 

Components of the lost formwork:

  • Slotted plate W=300 mm, L=1000 mm galvanized (slotted hole, wheel pressure 10 t)

  • Slotted plate W=300 mm, L=500 mm galvanized (slotted hole, wheel pressure 10 t)

  • Slotted plate W=300 mm, L=1000 mm galvanized (perforated plate, wheel pressure 10 t)

  • Lost formwork W=300 mm, L=2000 mm, galvanized, 1 mm sheet thickness

  • End cap W=300 mm, galvanized

  • Angle 90° right and left W=300 mm, galvanized, 1 mm sheet*

  • T-piece W=300 mm, galvanized, 1 mm sheet*

  • Cross-piece, galvanized

*For each 90° right or left angle and T-piece, 1 slotted plate (1 m) and 1 slotted plate (0.5 m) must be planned.

Cover variants:

  • Ventilation plate type HD – drivable, max. wheel load 10 t; ventilation area: 29.00 %

  • Ventilation plate type L300/500/800 – not drivable; for stacking heights up to 25 m with a bulk density of 750 kg/m³; slot bridges: ≤1.35 mm (suitable for rapeseed); ventilation area: 29.00 %

  • Perforated plate cover type HD – drivable, max. wheel load 10 t; hole size: 1.5 mm; air passage area: 22.7 %

  • Perforated plate cover type L300/500/80 – not drivable; for stacking heights up to 25 m with a bulk density of 750 kg/m; hole size: 1.5 mm; air passage area: 22.7 %
