Silo Dryer – Efficient Drying Directly in the Silo
A full-surface ventilation floor, combined with powerful hot air generators and blowers, is used for ventilating the NEUERO silo dryer. The ventilation floor rests on vertically arranged profiles and offers about 50% more free exit area than conventional systems. This allows significantly more air to be blown into the silo with the same energy input – while simultaneously reducing flow resistance.
The special perforation of the floor even allows for the storage and drying of rapeseed, significantly expanding the range of application. For easy cleaning, the individual segments of the floor can be easily removed upwards, keeping the space below well accessible.
The NEUERO hot air generators type WE and the fans type NV are perfectly matched to the silo dryer system. Two-stage burners ensure even heating of the drying air and thus high system performance when drying demand is high.
Optionally, the system can be equipped with modern control technology – including shut-off automation, control thermostats and hygrometers. In combination with the MANUS control or a PLC control, the silo dryer can be expanded into a fully automatic system.
